Marthasville Board approves HVAC maintenance contract, liquor license and monthly bills

The Marthasville Board of Aldermen approved several routine governance items at its Nov. 26 meeting, including a maintenance contract for the city’s HVAC units, a liquor license for a local business and the city’s monthly bills.
Mayor David Lange presided over the meeting. Alderman Meyer moved to approve the agenda and the Oct. 16 meeting minutes; Alderman DeVore seconded and the motions passed with all aldermen present voting “aye.” Alderman Meyer then moved to approve the November monthly bills and financial reports; Alderman Dixon seconded and the motion passed 3-0.
On a separate motion, the board approved a bid from Alferman Air for semiannual maintenance of six HVAC units serving City Hall and Rusche Park. Alderman Dixon made the motion and Alderman Meyer seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The board also approved a liquor license for The Outfield Sports Bar and Grill. Alderman Meyer moved the approval and Alderman DeVore seconded; all aldermen present voted “aye.”
Each of the foregoing votes was recorded as a 3-0 roll-call or voice vote in the meeting minutes. No public comments were recorded at the meeting.
The meeting proceeded to other agenda items and then into executive session later in the evening.
