The Rockland Water & Sewer Utility board met Jan. 7 and approved payment of checks #5534–#5536 totaling $9,235.71.
President Jon Hohlfeld presided. Trustee Derek Millin moved and Trustee Linda Young seconded to approve minutes from Dec. 10 and Dec. 30, 2024; the minutes were approved as submitted. Clerk/Treasurer Melody Brueggeman presented the January treasurer’s report; Trustee Derek Millin moved and Trustee Linda Young seconded to approve the report as submitted.
On vouchers, Trustee Derek Millin moved and Trustee Randy Rowell seconded to pay checks #5534–#5536 in the amount of $9,235.71; the motion carried. The minutes record the motion and that it carried but do not include a roll-call tally.
In new business, maintenance staff member Keegan completed a refresher course in preparation for an upcoming certification test. The minutes note that Seth Hemmersbach (listed among attendees) took a water sample to Superior for testing. The board also noted that engineering firm MSA will attend the next meeting.
Trustee Randy Rowell moved and Trustee Linda Young seconded to adjourn; the utility meeting adjourned at 7:19 p.m.
