The motion, made by Alderman Leo Meyer and seconded by Alderman DeVore, cited three statutory bases: 610.022(1) (legal actions and privileged attorney communications), 610.022(2) (leasing, purchasing or sale of real estate), and 610.022(3) (personnel matters). The motion passed by roll-call vote 3-0.
