The Village of Warrens on June 2 voted to adopt Ordinance No. 9.04, which amends fees for alcohol, cabaret and other licenses and brings updated permit and application forms into use.
Village Clerk Tonna Claussen presented an overview of the revised forms and applications available through the Clerk’s office or the village website, including annexation, chicken permits, conditional use permits, event permits and sign permits; noise and fireworks permit templates were presented as pending and expected for formal action at the upcoming June Village Board meeting. Trustee A. Werner moved to approve Ordinance No. 9.04; Trustee P. Malinger seconded and the motion carried.
The ordinance amends license and permit fee schedules; the minutes record the adoption but do not include line‑item fee amounts in this hearing document. Officials said the updated forms are now in use and that pending forms for noise and fireworks permits are presented for information and will return for formal consideration at the June Village Board meeting.
The board also announced it is seeking two additional trustees to reach the statutorily required seven‑member board.
