The Village of Warrens Board of Trustees discussed whether to formally supply water and sewer services to two businesses — American Berry Company and Warrens Cold Storage — during its April 22 working session. Minutes note both businesses are connected to the village water and sewer systems but are physically located in the Township of Lincoln. Trustees opted not to decide at the working session and added the matter to the May agenda for final consideration.
Clerk Tonna Claussen relayed the background and the board directed that a decision be scheduled for the next meeting so that trustees can review legal, jurisdictional and billing implications before taking formal action.
