At its April 22 working session, the Village of Warrens Board of Trustees reviewed several permit and licensing topics under consideration for ordinance or administrative rules. The list included chicken permits, both group and individual fireworks permits, noise permits, large-scale event permits, transient merchant permits, cabaret licenses and operator’s licenses.
Clerk Tonna Claussen presented the permit list and trustees flagged fireworks permitting for further follow-up; the minutes note trustees or staff should coordinate with Mike Morphy regarding fireworks requirements. No formal policy changes or fee adoptions were recorded during the working session; such items remain under review pending draft amendments referenced elsewhere on the agenda.
The board also discussed the administrative process for large-scale event permits and transient merchants in the context of proposed amendments to Ordinance 5.016, but did not adopt new rules at this meeting.
