Maysville approves $26,600 Snyder & Associates agreement for water-line connection design

The Maysville Board of Aldermen voted Jan. 22 to sign an agreement with Snyder & Associates for design work on a water-line connection at a cost of $26,600. Alderman Clint Sollars moved to sign the agreement; Alderman Amy Justus seconded and the motion carried.
City Clerk Jennifer Justus reported that the plans have been submitted to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for approval and that, if DNR approves within the expected timeframe, the project can be advertised for bids in about three weeks. The agreement cost was stated during the meeting as $26,600.
The board did not discuss financing details during the Jan. 22 meeting; the clerk’s comments indicated the next administrative steps are awaiting DNR approval and then moving to a bidding phase.
