Trustees voted April 8 to use $681.14 in excess Centennial-event funds to install a three-dimensional “In God We Trust” display on the front eave of the Village Office and to add a flag decal above the front door. The board considered four design options and selected design option #2 for the 3-D lettering and option #4 for the decal.
The project will be funded from the remaining Centennial funds and requires no additional village expenditure, according to the minutes. The motion to proceed carried at the meeting.
