Warrens board approves several alcohol and operator licenses, defers cabaret and Bear Bogging details to May

At its April 8 meeting the Village of Warrens approved several alcohol- and operator-license requests and deferred more complex entertainment licensing questions for later consideration.
The board approved a Class B Reserve Retailer license for Three Bears, a six-month Class B beer license for the Warrens Softball Association and an operator’s license for Josh Shisler (motions carried). Trustees reviewed the concept of a cabaret license to regulate venues offering live entertainment or dancing and agreed to revisit a proposed ordinance and fee schedule at the May meeting.
Representatives from Bear Bogging asked to operate an outdoor bar with food trucks and music from May through October; trustees requested more information about the Class B/Class C alcohol license needs and will take the item up again in May.
