Pine Ridge police logged 1,315 citations in 2025; chief to host forum Jan. 22

Chief Neeley presented the Pine Ridge Police Department's December 2025 and year-end reports during the Jan. 13 council meeting. For the calendar year 2025 the department reported 214 calls for service, 14 arrests, 51 agency assists, more than 430 community contacts, 1,315 citations (727 for speeding) and 292 warnings.
For December specifically the chief reported non-reportable calls (number not specified), 49 ops cad calls outside their purview, one arrest, 29 community contacts, 67 citations (41 for speeding) and 15 warnings. The Mayor confirmed a Chief's Forum scheduled for Jan. 22 from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.
During Citizen's Comment Time Mr. John Valdario of Heidi Lane asked the council to clear overbrush from sidewalks, repair uneven sidewalks and arrange for sidewalks to be blown off year-round. The town administrator confirmed no electronic comments were received for the meeting.
What happens next: The Chief's Forum on Jan. 22 is expected to provide further opportunity for residents to discuss policing; council members and staff will decide on any follow-up sidewalk maintenance work through their property and public-works processes.
