Committee approves Microsoft licensing renewal, backup payment, holiday calendar and election judges

After discussion, a motion to approve the renewal was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
"My budget is gonna go over my budget line item, but I've been pretty frugal in other [lines]," the county's IT staff member said, adding that the office will make up any overage from IT contingency funds.
Payment to Ninja 1 LLC: the committee approved a payment of $18,754.08 to Ninja 1 LLC for the county's ticketing and backup solution. The IT staff described Ninja as the county's ticketing solution and backup provider and cautioned that growing data volumes could increase future costs.
"This is our ticketing solution. It's also our backup solution," the IT staff member said, noting current backups are off-site and that storage quotas are growing (about 20+ TB currently).
Other routine business: the committee approved a resolution establishing the 2027 county holiday calendar and approved a resolution appointing election judges to serve for the November 2026 through March 2028 election cycle. Those items were treated as standard administrative matters and approved by voice vote.
