Committee forwards one-year extension request for TDD funding of 10 license-plate readers

The Committee voted to forward to the Board an amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding with the Gravois Bluffs Transportation Development District (TDD) to continue funding ten license-plate reader cameras at $25,000 for one year.
Alderman Bruce Rogers expressed interest in a future review of the Flock camera usage and records handling but clarified that the TDD agreement is for funding only and is separate from the vendor contract. City Attorney Erin Seele reminded the Committee that the existing Flock agreement includes termination provisions and addresses records requests, but the TDD amendment itself concerns funding. Alderman Jimmy Lange moved to forward the amendment and Alderman Ron Harrell seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The matter will be placed on the Board agenda for the January meeting for final action and any contract-level privacy or operational questions on camera use will be considered separately.
