Fulton City historic preservation commission finalizes April outreach event, plans recognition awards

The Fulton City Historic Preservation Commission finalized plans on Jan. 12 for a Historic Preservation recognition and outreach event set for April 15, 2026, saying the event will be free and open to the public and aimed at increasing awareness of local preservation resources and recognition opportunities.

The commission agreed the event will include an educational presentation and recognition of local preservation efforts. Sean Cockrum, venue manager for the Playhouse on Court Street, provided the commission an overview of venue availability, capacity and rental considerations; the minutes do not list a specific capacity or rental rate.
