Water and Light staff honor Martin after 21 years of service

Martin addressed the commission and staff, thanking coworkers and describing highlights of her tenure: meter conversions, streetlights replaced, electric lines placed underground and water system changeouts. "I was able to be with my children when I needed to be, and yesterday, I became a grandmother for the first time," Martin said. She thanked the commissioners and staff for their support.
Commissioners and staff offered congratulations and took photos. The presentation was an informal recognition and did not include further actions.
