The Peterborough Select Board recorded the following formal actions at its Oct. 1, 2024 meeting:
- Seal non-public minutes (RSA 91-A:3 II(c)): Chair Tyler Ward made the motion; Bill Taylor seconded; unanimous vote to seal.
- Enter and close public hearing pursuant to RSA 79-E: motion carried to hear the Catholic Charities CRTRI application; the board later granted the CRTRI for eleven years (motion to accept by Bill Taylor; seconded by Bill Kennedy; unanimous vote).
- Appointments: Chair Ward moved to appoint Maude Odgers and Terry Reeves to the Parks Committee (seconded by Bill Taylor); Chair Ward moved to appoint Sarah Steinberg Heller, Gary Gorski, David Odland, Richard Lesser, James Kelly, and Leandra MacDonald to the CIP Committee (seconded by Bill Taylor). Both motions passed unanimously.
- Riverwalk landscaping contract: The board accepted Town Planner Danica Melone’s recommendation to award the Riverwalk landscaping contract to Greeley Farms and authorized Seth MacLean to enter the agreement (motion by Bill Taylor; seconded by Bill Kennedy; unanimous vote). The contract covers planting and vegetation only.
- Minutes approval and adjournment: The board approved the Sept. 3, 2024 Select Board minutes (motion by Bill Taylor; seconded by Tyler Ward) and adjourned at 5:54 p.m. (motion to adjourn by Bill Kennedy; seconded by Bill Taylor). All motions were carried unanimously.
Vote tallies: Each recorded vote at the Oct. 1 meeting was unanimous among the three Select Board members present (Tyler Ward, Bill Taylor, Bill Kennedy).
