After a brief closed session called to discuss real estate and employee matters that began at 5:03 p.m. and ended at 5:35 p.m., the council approved a personnel hire. Council member Claire Beyer moved to hire Danielle Whitworth for 28 to 32 hours per week at $16.50 per hour for a 90‑day period; the motion was seconded by Amanda Parton and passed unanimously among the members present.
The council discussed local infrastructure and authorized repairs to 7th Street not to exceed $1,000 after a motion from Amanda Parton and a second from Claire Beyer.
