Galena council approves $2,250 park tree removal and buys a used mower from Marionville

Council also moved to purchase a Bad Boy mower from the City of Marionville for $2,500. Deana Wells made the motion to purchase the mower; Claire Beyer seconded and the motion carried. Council noted other equipment items: a pump truck issue was tabled, a one‑ton truck item was informational with no motion, and new spindles were ordered for a John Deere mower.
The council also reported that a stop sign at Fourth and Carr has already been reinstalled.
