The Select Board unanimously voted to accept a $13,000 grant awarded through the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES) and federal ARPA funds to support planned supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) upgrades, including four iPads with three years of AppleCare coverage, town staff said.
Nicole MacStay told the board the town became eligible for the award after a recent water-system cybersecurity readiness audit conducted through the Overwatch Foundation. Mr. Bill Taylor moved to accept the grant; Chair Tyler Ward seconded and members voted in favor.
At the start of the joint session, the Budget Committee moved to approve its Dec. 12, 2024 minutes. Mr. Richard Reynells made the motion, Chair Rick Lesser seconded, and the committee voted to approve the minutes.
The meeting concluded at 7:27 p.m. after Ms. Leslie Lewis moved to adjourn; Mr. Reynells seconded and the motion carried.
