Barbara Mosley introduced herself during the citizen forum and described a proposed nonprofit project called GB Urban Oasis.
"I have created an arboretum...it's on a 22 acre facility...we are going to be putting in a barn that will have a hockey rink and a wrestling room for my son, a digging zone, and a nature center," Mosley said, explaining she is in the zoning process and hopes to begin operations by next spring.
Mosley described the project as an intergenerational space to connect older and younger residents through gardening, volunteering and recreational activities. She asked the board and community to note the proposal as she completes required zoning steps.
No formal zoning application or specific permits were recorded in the meeting minutes presented; Mosley’s remarks served as an introduction to the board.
