Selectmen accept $1,000 donation to Sanbornton Public Library

At the Jan. 14 meeting the Sanbornton Board of Selectmen unanimously accepted a $1,000 donation to the Sanbornton Public Library that had been made using the Town’s EIN.
Library Trustee Ginny Blackmer explained the donation and Selectman Brandon Deacon moved to accept the $1,000 on behalf of the library, with funds to be deposited into an account to be determined by the Trustees of the Trust Fund. Selectman Ralph Carter seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The minutes do not state the donor’s name or any restriction on the use of the funds.
