The Warner Select Board heard an initial update on a proposed cell tower at the town Transfer Station on March 31.
Chairman Alfred Hanson said the proposed height is 205 feet and asked Emergency Management Director Ed Mical to contact the radio company and request pricing for a town repeater. Hanson said the town’s intent was to have Verizon pay for repeaters. Barb Marty referred the board to the zoning ordinance regarding cell towers.
Officials did not take a formal action but directed staff to gather pricing and regulatory information to return to the board for consideration.
