Greenwood moves forward on Basin No. 2 sewer rehab, staff report lowest bid from SAC Construction LLC

An agency official told the council the city received six bids and that SAC Construction LLC was the lowest and recommended bidder. “They were the lowest bidder and they were the the recommended selection for the project,” the official said. Staff described the project scope as roughly 87 manholes, about 15,000 feet of cured-in-place lining and approximately 300 linear feet of gravity sewer replacement.
During the discussion a dollar amount was read aloud in the meeting transcript as "$11,093,008.39." The council approved the contract authorization by voice vote. Staff said funding will come mostly from the sewer fund with remaining costs covered by unobligated ARPA funds.
What happens next: staff will proceed with contract execution and construction planning consistent with recorded temporary construction easements and previously completed bid evaluation.
