Planning Board to compare State DOT and town driveway rules; question on appointing Zoning Coordinator as alternate sent to legal counsel

During that discussion John Trachy proposed that Tim Bray be considered as a board alternate. Several members said the question should be forwarded to legal counsel because Bray also serves as the town Zoning Coordinator and as Health Officer, creating a potential role conflict. The board took no appointment action at the meeting and scheduled the regulatory comparison for the next meeting.
No public comments were recorded on the driveway regulations during the meeting. The board’s next step is to bring the state and town documents for a side-by-side review in October.
