Athens in Motion Commission approves agenda and minutes, keeps May meeting date

The Athens in Motion Commission opened its April 28 meeting at 4:09 p.m. and confirmed a quorum. Lauren Blais, chair of Athens in Motion, asked for public comment and, receiving none, moved the meeting into routine business. Aaron Redman moved to accept the agenda; Randy Halstead seconded, and the motion carried unanimously. Later, Aaron Redman moved to accept the March meeting minutes; Ed Maioriello seconded and the minutes were approved unanimously.
The commission kept its regular May meeting date for Tuesday, May 26, despite that day falling the day after Memorial Day. The meeting closed following a motion to adjourn moved by Randy Halstead and seconded by Ed Maioriello; the adjournment was approved and the meeting ended at 5:17 p.m.
Attendance listed seven AiM commissioners present: Lauren Blais, Art Edison, Randy Halstead, Allen Jones, Ed Maioriello, Aaron Redman and Blaine Van Note; Teresa Friedlander was recorded as absent.
