Resident asks Port Royal to act on large-scale dumping on Johnny Morrell Circle Drive

It's stuff that I can't take care of," Eads said, describing a site she said had progressed from small trash items to large, hazardous debris and asking the town to contact property owners and install signage that prohibits dumping and carries fines (S6).
Council members acknowledged the complaint, indicated staff were taking notes and asked for photographs and property-owner contacts so staff and the police chief could follow up. The speaker said the area is owned by multiple property owners and that signs had worked in another location when the town had posted them.
The council asked staff to follow up, and a chief present gave a head nod to indicate that enforcement attention would be given. No formal action was taken at the meeting beyond staff agreement to investigate and pursue signage and owner contact.
The town will notify the resident when follow-up steps are scheduled.
