The district’s list of proposed work included sidewalk replacements; installation of emergency backup generators; upgrades to public-address systems and security cameras; additions of elevators and accessible entry ramps; fence repairs and upgrades at athletic fields and the track; tennis-court repairs; and repairs and improvements to infrastructure systems.
School officials emphasized the long-term benefits of maintaining safe, efficient and accessible facilities for students, staff and the community. The board thanked Superintendent Pelkey and his team for bringing details of the project and the proposed budget to the town board.
