Personnel Committee meets in closed session to discuss 2025 pay increases

Committee member Sheryl Narva moved to convene the closed session; Bob Hulett seconded. The motion "carried" as recorded with five yes votes. The minutes list six members present at roll call; the five-vote tally is reported exactly as recorded in the meeting minutes.
Employees Al Austad, Adam Bush and Clerk/Treasurer Tammy Weisman were present and each had an opportunity in closed session to discuss individual issues and potential pay increases for the 2025 budget. Committee member Steve Roseth elected to provide his feedback in writing rather than speaking during the closed session.
After the closed-session discussions, the committee returned to open session. Narva moved to reconvene to open session, seconded by Steve Roseth; the motion carried with six yes votes as recorded. Justin Beaman then moved to adjourn at 5:50 p.m., Bob Hulett seconded, and the motion carried with six yes votes.
