The Springfield Planning Board approved a short-term rental site plan for Harriett’s at its Nov. 21 meeting, following a roll-call vote after members found the revised application complete.
Chairman Mike Howard opened the hearing and noted the application had been amended to include a site plan drawn on the required 22×33-inch paper. Jen Roberts, representing the fire department, provided a signed life-safety form. John Trachy moved to accept the revised application as complete; Darrin Patten seconded and a roll-call vote recorded Dan Saulnier, Mike Howard, Jen Roberts, Darrin Patten and John Trachy as voting in favor.
After finding the application complete, Dan Saulnier moved to approve the site plan and Darrin Patten seconded. The same five members voted to approve the plan. The Board signed two copies of the approved plan, one to remain in the municipal file and one for the applicant.
The approval followed the applicant’s submission of a corrected map and the fire-department sign-off; the record notes that additional on-site elements (for example, an alternate fire pit) could require a revised plan and future Board approval. No additional conditions or votes were recorded in the transcript.
