Larimer County says it met Prop 1–3 goals and names assistant county engineer

County Manager Lorinda Volker told the Larimer County Board of County Commissioners that the state notified the county it had met its Prop 1, 2 and 3 goals earlier than required. "We retained 113 housing units and, created an expedited review for affordable housing," Volker said, crediting regional collaboration and county staff for the outcome.
Volker also announced an internal staffing appointment, naming Eric Tracy as the county's assistant county engineer after a competitive recruitment process. She thanked staff members including Aliyah Rodriguez and Rebecca Everett for their roles in reaching the housing goals and said Larimer County is one of 17 counties that reached the targets by July while others have until the end of the year.
Chair Jody Shaddagh McNally praised the team's work and described the milestone as a reflection of policy choices and interagency cooperation. The county manager's update also included routine event recaps and public-safety acknowledgments but the housing milestone and staffing appointment were the substantive policy and personnel items highlighted to commissioners.
