Tomah council authorizes administrator discretion on discipline and approves negotiation and contract authorities in closed session

On property matters, the council authorized the city attorney and city administrator to negotiate terms for the sale and developer agreement for Property D within previously presented parameters (motion by John Glynn, second by Mitchell Koel). The council discussed Property E but took no action.
The council approved a contract for City Attorney services by motion of Mitchell Koel, second by John Glynn; the minutes record Paul Peterson abstained. Council also approved sub-lease terms regarding Property B (motion by John Glynn, second by Travis Scholze); Richard Yarrington recorded opposition. Updates on two litigation cases were provided with no action taken.
All of these actions occurred in closed session and were recorded in the minutes when the council reconvened; the meeting adjourned at 9 p.m.
