The Tomah Common Council on Feb. 17, 2026, approved a multi-item consent agenda that included licenses, appointments, renewals and routine financial actions.
Motion by Shawn Zabinski, second by Nellie Pater to approve the consent agenda carried. Items recorded in the minutes include approval of the Jan. 20, 2026 minutes; the issuance of a Class B beer and Class C wine license for Aimee’s Hub at 1103 Superior Ave; a temporary Class B wine and Class B beer license for the Tomah Baseball Club’s Baseball Night Out on March 7, 2026; a temporary Class B beer and Class B wine license for Families First of Monroe County Inc. for its Families First Trivia Night on March 14, 2026; appointment of a successor agent for ALDI #52 at 1844 N Superior Ave; annual renewal of taxicab licenses for Abby Vans Inc. DBA Tomah Transit; a resolution for payment of monthly bills; and Lake Committee sales tax reimbursement.
Administrator Nick Morales also announced Justin Randall of Public Works as the Employee of the Month; the minutes note Randall assisted the fire department at a recent structure fire and helped with safe demolition after firefighters raised concerns about structural collapse. Mayor Paul Dwyer was absent and provided no report.
The consent agenda was approved with the motion recorded; no dissenting votes on the consent items were recorded in the minutes.
