At the April 13 Committee of the Whole meeting, members requested a preliminary report on the city’s 2025 budget and approved the payment of monthly bills totaling $911,201.56.
Dean Peterson moved and Richard Yarrington seconded a motion requesting that Treasurer Justin Derhammer prepare a preliminary 2025 budget report. Travis Scholze asked whether that analysis was already underway and whether Derhammer had the time to produce it; the motion carried.
Separately, the committee moved to recommend Council approval of payment of monthly bills in the amount of $911,201.56. The motion was recorded as carried.
Committee members also asked Administrator Nick Morales for additional detail on meetings cited in his monthly administrator’s report and asked for a status update on the 2025 audit from Treasurer Derhammer. These requests were recorded in the minutes as follow-up items; no deadlines or deliverables were specified in the public record.
