Audit: Trappe posts clean FY24/25 audit, auditor urges continued progress ahead of infrastructure work

Roy Geiser of UHY LLP presented the Town of Trappe’s Fiscal Year 2024–25 financial audit at the Dec. 3 council meeting, reporting a clean audit and improved financial position compared with about 10 years ago.
Geiser thanked town staff for being prepared and encouraged the council to sustain progress as the town moves into a period of increased infrastructure work. The audit and the General Fund and Enterprise Fund budgets were filed with the town records, according to the Clerk’s report read by Administrator Erin Braband.
No council action was required on the audit at the meeting; the auditor’s presentation was recorded in the minutes and the audit documents were filed with town records.
