GMB representatives on Dec. 3 asked the Trappe Town Council to approve a revised Amendment #2 to the Owner–Engineer Agreement and two contractor change orders for the town’s pumping station project.
Jason Lytle presented Amendment #2 and requested council approval of the associated contract adjustment for construction administration and inspection services. Commissioner Michael Sullivan moved to approve Amendment #2, Commissioner Rose Potter seconded, and the council voted unanimously in favor.
Lytle and Andrew Wright then presented two contractor change orders that GMB recommended for approval. President Newnam moved to accept both change orders and Commissioner Walter Chase seconded; the council unanimously approved the request.
The motions record the council’s formal acceptance of GMB’s recommendations. No dollar amounts for the change orders or amendment were provided in the minutes; the council approved the items on GMB’s recommendation and directed implementation through the town’s project administration channels.
