The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners on June 3 presented the 2026 Wade Boggs Athletic Achievement Award to Wilson Anderson of Jesuit High School, county communications reported.
County materials said Anderson made four straight trips to the state finals, won state championships in 2024 and this season, graduated from Jesuit High School with honors and volunteered more than 200 hours of community service. Honorable mentions were given to Matthew Altman of Gaither High School and Winston Pennant of Sumner High School.
The presentation was given as part of the county’s recognition items at the June 3 meeting; no action or vote was required for the awards.
