At its Nov. 19 meeting the Waterville Valley Select Board took several routine actions.
Emergency coverage agreement with Conway Fire Department
The board voted to renew a three‑year agreement with the Conway Fire Department to provide emergency coverage for a one‑mile stretch of highway in the town's northeast corner (including 7 Falls). The chief confirmed Conway has periodically covered adjacent highway sections and that the agreement will continue prior practice, with Conway billing the town for calls and providing a report of responses. The motion to renew was made and seconded and passed on a voice vote.
Acceptance of reimbursed funds
The board accepted $10,144.59 from Nancy Dakota as unanticipated miscellaneous revenue to reimburse the town for expenses related to a celebration of life for Mark. The money will be placed in the miscellaneous revenue/unanticipated funds line for the board to decide later how to expend it. The motion passed on a voice vote.
Minutes
The board moved to approve minutes from several prior meetings as amended; the motion carried.
No formal roll‑call tallies were recorded in the meeting transcript; the minutes record the motions, the seconders and that the board voted in favor on voice votes for these items.
