Mason County Public Health issues two RFPs for homeless crisis response and affordable housing projects

"We have a homeless response system request for proposals," Tracy said, explaining the county released one RFP for homeless crisis-response system services and another for acquisition, development or preservation of affordable housing. Tracy said funding comes from the Consolidated Homeless Grant (CHG) and local document-recording fees administered by Mason County.
Tracy said the funding will support programs that address immediate needs of people experiencing homelessness while helping them obtain and maintain stable housing. He encouraged qualified nonprofit and eligible organizations to apply and noted application materials are on the Mason County website under requests for proposals; the contact person listed in the announcement is Todd Parker.
