At Wednesday’s meeting the Ware Conservation Commission recorded several formal actions and unanimous voice votes.
- The commission authorized the chair to sign the landowner permission form for the Snowmobile Club’s grant application for trail improvements (motion by Steve; seconded by Mark). Outcome: approved unanimously.
- The commission authorized the chair to consult the town attorney about drafting a formal agreement or easement to codify Snowmobile Club use of town land (motion by Steve; seconded by Ray). Outcome: approved unanimously.
- The commission approved the 2026 forestry-services agreement (hourly rates) and authorized the chair to sign in accordance with existing contracts (motion made and seconded; passed unanimously).
- The commission accepted the February 11, 2026 meeting minutes as amended (motion made and seconded; passed unanimously).
- The commission moved and approved the existing slate of officers to continue in their roles pending selectboard volunteer appointments: Andy Fulton (chair), Steve (vice chair), Mike Camacho (secretary). Outcome: approved unanimously.
