At 6:26 p.m. on Sept. 22, the Shawano School District Board voted to adjourn into closed session for a superintendent evaluation check-in.
Board member Bobbi Lemerond moved to adjourn to closed session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c), which allows governmental bodies to meet in closed session to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of a public employee. Christine McKinnies seconded. The roll call vote recorded six ayes and the board went into closed session at 6:26 p.m.
While in closed session, Mrs. Lemerond moved to adjourn and Mr. Al Pyatskowit seconded. The roll call vote was again recorded as six ayes and the meeting adjourned at 7:07 p.m. No additional public actions or votes were recorded in the public minutes following the closed session motions.
