The Corona Historic Preservation Board held its leadership elections at the start of the session and approved minutes for a prior special meeting.
Board members nominated and elected a chair by roll-call vote; the record reflects board member Gonzalez as chair for 2026 (motion by Board member Wynne, seconded by Board member Kalkanis). The board then nominated and confirmed Casey Rubalcaba as vice chair by voice vote. Both positions will be effective at the next meeting.
The board also considered and approved corrected minutes for the special meeting of Sept. 30, 2025 after a clarification about who moved and seconded the original motion; the minutes approval passed 5–0.
No additional administrative reports were given before the board moved to the public hearing on the City Park revitalization plan.
