The Shell Lake City Council recorded several routine unanimous actions at its Aug. 12 meeting.
The council approved minutes from June 26, 2024 (motion by Rob Anderson, seconded by Mike Andrews) and July 8, 2024 (motion by Ken Schultz, seconded by Deb Nebel). The council also approved vouchers numbered 878–1030 after a motion by Stephen Smith, seconded by Ken Schultz; the vouchers motion carried unanimously.
In new business, the council approved a street use permit for the Lakeland Family Resource Center’s Lake Run and Fastest Kids Race scheduled for Aug. 31, 2024 (motion by Mike Andrews, seconded by Dan Harrington). The council also appointed Chuck Levine as an alternate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals (motion by Stephen Smith, seconded by Rob Anderson); that appointment carried unanimously.
Stephen Smith moved to adjourn the meeting, a motion seconded by Terry Severson; the meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. The minutes were signed by Andrew Eiche, City Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer.
