Slinger parks board approves routine maintenance and concession contracts

The Village of Slinger Parks, Recreation & Forestry Board approved two vendor contracts and accepted routine minutes at its April 7, 2025 meeting.
Director Tony Dobson presented the 2025 lawn maintenance contract from EverGreen Property Services, noting price increases for 2025 and recommending board approval. Jeff Behrend moved to approve the contract; Becky Wojtak seconded, and the motion carried.
Dobson also presented the 2025 Community Park concession stand lease, which increases the annual lease fee from $1,500 to $2,000. Bob Stuettgen moved to approve the lease as presented; Dawn Smith seconded and the motion carried.
The board approved the minutes from its March 3, 2025 meeting on a motion by Jennie Stonehouse, seconded by Dawn Smith. Chair Jake Bergum closed routine business by requesting Rotary Park planning be placed on the May agenda.
The meeting adjourned at 6:33 p.m. on a motion by Jeff Behrend, seconded by Becky Wojtak.
