Chair John Dalton noted multiple members had been disconnected and the board agreed to reschedule the executive session. Chris Schaffner moved to adjourn and reschedule; Tyson Kupinski seconded and the motion passed with those present voting yes.
During the adjournment discussion, resident Dean Banfield urged the board to schedule the executive session quickly if it will include talks about a power purchase agreement (PPA) for the middle school roof, saying that delaying the discussion could jeopardize a construction window. "I'd appreciate it if you can, with great haste, any conversations about a PPA... the loss of a possible construction month... loses us a possible construction month for putting solar up on that roof," Banfield said.
The board acknowledged the concern and said it would attempt to reschedule the executive session promptly; no executive-session substance was discussed in public and no vote on a PPA occurred at this meeting.
