Council then approved a Real Estate Lease and fixed-base operator (FBO) agreement with Jewel Aviation after Mayor Crafton described the agreement as the same as past approvals. The council also approved an Airport Management Agreement with Sam Jewell; Panousis moved and Bryant seconded the airport management approval. Council did not discuss changes to compensation or operational scope during the meeting.
These approvals allow the city to proceed with state grant paperwork and continue existing airport management arrangements; any contract or grant implementation details will be handled by staff under the agreements approved by the council.
