Concession building, courts resurfacing and event planning set for Friendsville Days

The council also heard that A1 Asphalt resurfaced the basketball, tennis and pickleball courts and that pickleball poles have been installed. Mayor Schlosnagle said the courts will be ready for Friendsville Days and community use.
On local economic engagement, the Business After Hours committee confirmed vendors for the community networking event (Wild Ember Bread; Herbal Earth Apothecary & Gardens; Bar-B-Q Beast; Friendsville Public House; Friendsville Fire Department Special Event Group; Friendsville Discount Liquors; Good to Go; Dollar General). The mayor will serve as MC and the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce will manage registration.
