Spring Valley School Board elects officers, sets 2026–27 meeting time to 7 p.m.

The School District of Spring Valley Board held its reorganization session on April 29, 2026. Superintendent John Groh called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Board members present included Emily Collins, Ryan Glaus, Beth Ingli, Stacy Schultz, Monica Shafer, Monica Vorlicek and Jennelle Wolf.
During nominations and votes conducted at the meeting, Stacy Schultz was elected Board President. Jennelle Wolf was elected Vice President, Monica Shafer was elected Board Clerk and Monica Vorlicek was elected Treasurer. The Board discussed the proposed 2026–27 meeting schedule and, by motion (Glaus, second Wolf), changed the start time for Regular Board Meetings to 7:00 p.m. Committee memberships were appointed: Policy Committee (Wolf, Schultz, Shafer); Finance Committee (Vorlicek, Collins, Ingli); Buildings & Grounds Committee (Glaus, Collins, Ingli). The Board also nominated representatives to external events: Vorlicek to attend the Wisconsin Association of School Boards convention (Jan. 20–22, 2027), Schultz to attend the CESA #11 meeting on June 1, 2026, and Shafer to represent the Board for the Spring Valley Education Foundation. Board representatives for the May 15, 2026 graduation ceremony were named.
President Schultz opened the floor for community participation; the record shows no speakers from the public during that opportunity.
The Board is scheduled to reconvene for its regular meeting series under the new 7:00 p.m. start time for 2026–27.
