Friendsville council approves routine business, awards museum contract; tree committee reappointed

The Friendsville Mayor and Town Council on Sept. 9 approved a series of routine motions and a contract award during a 6:00 p.m. meeting at Town Hall.
The council unanimously approved the meeting agenda (Motion #1, MacLane/Kelley). The Aug. 19 meeting minutes were accepted (Motion #2, Kelley/Artice) with a recorded tally of 5 in favor and 1 abstention; the minutes do not identify which council member abstained.
