Personnel Committee meets in closed session to consider employee evaluations; will present evaluations to Village Board

The Spring Green Personnel Committee convened Aug. 25, 2025, and entered a closed session under Section 19.85(1)(c) of the Wisconsin Statutes to consider employment and performance-evaluation data for public employees.

Robin Reid called the meeting to order at 11:02 a.m. and attendance was recorded; committee members Robin Reid and Deb Miller were present in person, and Wendy Crary, Michael Stoddard and Adam Reno were listed as other attendees. Wendy Crary was appointed minute taker.

Deb Miller moved and Reid seconded to approve the minutes of the Aug. 7, 2024 Personnel Committee meeting; the motion passed with all in favor. Miller then moved and Reid seconded to approve the meeting agenda as presented; that motion also passed unanimously.

At 11:04 a.m. the committee voted to convene into closed session under Wis. Stat. §19.85(1)(c), which permits consideration of employment, promotion, compensation or performance-evaluation data of public employees. The roll call vote was recorded as Aye: Miller and Reid. The meeting record shows the committee remained in closed session until reconvening into open session at 2:12 p.m., a motion that passed with all in favor.

After returning to open session, the committee discussed employee evaluations and agreed that the evaluations will be presented to the Village Board. The minutes state explicitly that no formal committee action was taken on the evaluations during this meeting.

There were no public comments recorded, and Miller moved and Reid seconded to adjourn the meeting at 2:13 p.m.; that motion passed with all in favor.
