Frank Glynn requested a 30‑day extension to finalize removal of personal property at 433 W. Madison Street prior to a building inspection. Trustee David Saperstein moved to suspend all Sept. 3 deadlines related to the abatement except for a final completion deadline of Nov. 18, 2025; Jeannie McCarville seconded and the motion carried by voice vote.
Saperstein also moved that Wendy Crary or Chief Stoddard contact the original building inspector, Michael Parrott, to clarify the purpose and necessity of an inspection at this time and to get his recommendations going forward; the motion was seconded by McCarville and carried by voice vote. Village President Robin Reid requested that Crary contact the local building inspector regarding required permits for the property.
The board’s recorded actions pause several interim deadlines while preserving a final completion date and direct staff to seek inspection and permitting guidance from the original and the local building inspectors. The minutes do not include the inspector’s responses or any revised timetable beyond Nov. 18, 2025.
