The oath as read was followed by brief congratulatory remarks from commissioners.
The swearing-in was followed by routine agenda business and a scheduled work session on storm cleanup. The commission did not take additional action on personnel at the meeting beyond the ceremonial swearing and expressions of appreciation.
The commission adjourned after receiving updates from department heads on storm damage and cleanup efforts.
